Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Chairman Imran Khan has announced the end of talks after the government did not announce the establishment of a judicial commission. Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the spokesperson of the government’s negotiation committee, reacted to the announcement of the end of talks by the PTI and said that wait a few days, let the weather be pleasant. Chairman Barrister Gauhar says that talks can be resumed if a commission consisting of 3 judges is formed. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gauhar said that Imran Khan has instructed to end talks if the commission is not announced. Zardari Shahbaz Bilawal ended talks due to helplessness on the part of the government. Chairman PTI said that talks cannot proceed if the commission is not announced. Talks can be held if a commission consisting of 3 judges is formed. He said that the PTI says that we will continue our efforts under the constitution and law. We will struggle together with all opposition parties on the instructions of Imran Khan. Barrister Gauhar said That the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is not waiting for any external help, Imran Khan will fight his case in Pakistani courts and will come out with relief from Pakistani courts.
It should be noted that after the meeting of the government committee established for negotiations with the PTI on Tuesday, the committee’s spokesperson, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, had said that PTI would give a detailed response to the demands of the judicial commission, including the judicial commission, on May 9 and November 26, within 7 days. However, the final decision to form a judicial commission has not been taken yet. It should be remembered that there have been 3 rounds of negotiations between the PTI and the government. The first meeting was held on December 23, 2024, while the second meeting was held on January 2. In the third meeting held on January 16, the PTI presented its charter of demands to the government, which demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the attacks on military installations on May 9 and the deaths caused by security forces firing on a peaceful PTI protest on September 23.
