Under the peace agreement in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the process to demolish all the fronts in Balash Khel and Khar Kali will begin. Food, beverages and medicines have been delivered to different areas on 12 more trucks. This was announced by Deputy Commissioner Kurram Kurram Ashfaq Khan in Kohat. He said that according to the Kohat peace agreement, all the fronts in the district will be demolished by February 1 and weapons will be collected. All types of weapons were used in tribal clashes. Meanwhile, the process of delivering relief goods is also underway in different areas of Kurram district. According to Assistant Kashminar Hangu Manan Khan, 12 relief trucks were delivered from Hangu Tal to different areas of Kurram. Assistant Kashminar Hangu Manan Khan said that 7 trucks of relief goods have been delivered to Tri Mangal, 4 to Bushra and one to Gaj Ghari. Strict security arrangements were made on the Tal Para Chinar highway during the transfer of relief goods.
Meanwhile, the Parachinar-Till main highway is closed for all types of traffic and citizens are facing severe difficulties due to the closure of the routes. According to official sources, the roads in Mandori are closed due to the sit-in. The business community says that a convoy of 40 vehicles is waiting from Till to Parachinar. At least 500 trucks are required to solve the problems of the people of Upper Kurram. Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters Hospital Parachinar Dr. Syed Mir Hassan Jan says that medicines have run out in medical stores. The public visits DHQ Hospital on a daily basis. 2300 to 2500 people who do not have access to medicines. Medical Union President Iqbal Hussain said that there is no medicine as per the requirement in the market. Not a single vehicle in the convoy brought medicines yesterday. On the other hand, the sit-in is still going on in Mandori area of Lower Kurram. The participants of the sit-in say that the medicines are not available in the market as per the requirement. A relief package should be given to the victims, the losses should be compensated, the sit-in will continue until the demands are not met. It should be noted that the relief convoy leaving on January 4 was stopped near Tal due to the firing on former Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kurram Agency Javedullah Mehsud.
