Wasif Safa, head of Hezbollah’s coordination unit, said in his first interview with the media that the enemy Israel has seen in the past how Hezbollah fought alone against all the Western countries that stood behind Israel on the battlefield, and even today Hezbollah is stronger than steel, more resilient, and more powerful than ever. Safa said that Hezbollah is ready for all challenges and the Lebanese people are standing behind Hezbollah and on the ground and, God willing, will continue to stand so that the military installations and residential buildings destroyed during the Israeli aggression can be rebuilt. During a visit to the southern suburbs of Beirut, specifically to the place where Hezbollah’s former Secretary General, the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was assassinated by Israel, Safa stressed that we always stand with the resistance and will continue to stand with them, protecting them from any harm internally, and no force can withstand our high morale. We assure our sympathizers that there is no need to worry.
Regarding whether Hezbollah will respond to Israeli violations, Safa revealed that Hezbollah’s capabilities have been restored and our resistance is capable of confronting any aggression in any way it deems appropriate. He added that what happens after the 60-day period set for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Lebanon depends on Hezbollah and its leadership. Hezbollah will not allow a single meter of Lebanese land to remain under Israeli occupation. Safa also said that Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is talking to American mediator Amos Hochstein regarding Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. Hezbollah has formed fresh troops and acquired new stockpiles of weapons during the ceasefire. Despite the closure of the military supply route by Syria, Hezbollah is a major power in the region. It should be noted that with the support and military assistance of Turkey, Israel and the United States in Syria, the armed group occupying Damascus (which the United States had designated as a terrorist group) has begun fraternal relations with Israel and has seized the Golan Heights. It is pledging not to take any action against Israel’s occupation of the buffer zone.
