پاکستان کی زرداری شہباز حکومت نے پشتون تحفظ موومنٹ (پی ٹی ایم) پر پابندی عائد کردی، جس کا نوٹیفکیشن بھی جاری کر دیا گیا ہے، وزارت داخلہ نے پی ٹی ایم پر پابندی کا باضابطہ نوٹیفکیشن بھی جاری کردیا ہے جس پر جلد عمل درآمد کیا جائے گا، وزارت داخلہ کے اعلامیے کے مطابق پشتون تحفظ موومنٹ ملک میں امن و سیکیورٹی کے لیے خطرہ ہے، سنہ 1997ء کے انسداد دہشت گردی ایکٹ کی دفعہ 11 بی کے تحت پی ٹی ایم پر پابندی عائد کی جاتی ہے، یہ پہلی بار نہیں جب پی ٹی ایم پر پابندی عائد کی گئی ہو، اس سے قبل بھی پشتون تحفظ موومنٹ کو متعدد بار حکومت کی جانب سے کالعدم جماعت قرار دیا جاچکا ہے، رواں سال اگست میں حکومت بلوچستان کی جانب سے 90 دن کے لئے پی ٹی ایم کے سربراہ منظور پشتین پر صوبے کے تمام اضلاع میں داخلے پر پابندی عائد کی گئی تھی، وفاقی حکومت نے پشتون تحفظ موومنٹ(پی ٹی ایم) کی سرگرمیوں کو ملک اور امن و امان کے لئے خطرہ قرار دیتے ہوئے اسے کالعدم قرار دیا ہے، وفاقی حکومت نے پی ٹی ایم پر ایک ایسے وقت پابندی عائد کی ہے جب آئندہ ہفتے اس کے زیر اہتمام پشاور سے ملحقہ قبائلی ضلعے خیبر میں پختون جرگہ منعقد ہونے والا ہے۔
پی ٹی ایم نے 11 اکتوبر کو شروع ہونے والے تین روزہ پختون قومی جرگے کے لئے خیبر کے تحصیل جمرود کے علاقے غنڈی میں حکومتی رکاوٹوں کے باوجود تیاریاں جاری رکھی ہوئی ہیں، گزشتہ ہفتے کے دوران منگل اور بدھ کی درمیانی شب پشاور اور خیبر پختونخواہ پولیس اہلکاروں نے وفاقی حکومت کو حاصل اختیارات کے تحت ایک مشترکہ کارروائی میں جمرود کے مقام پر انتظامات کیلئے لگوائے گئے خیموں کو اکھاڑ کر وہاں موجود پی ٹی ایم کے کارکنوں پر لاٹھی چارج کیا تھا، پولیس نے پی ٹی ایم کے کارکنان کو منتشر کرنے کے لئے آنسو گیس کی شیلنگ بھی کی تھی، جنوری 2018 میں کراچی پولیس کے ایک مبینہ مقابلے میں نقیب اللہ محسود کی ہلاکت پر لاکت کے رد عمل سامنے آیا تھا جس کے بعد منظور پشتین کے سربراہی میں بننے والی اس تنظیم پی ٹی ایم نے پختون نوجوانوں کو درپیش مسائل حل کرنے اور انہیں درپیش خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے اہم کردار ادا کیا، جنوری 2018 سے لے کر اب تک اس تنظیم میں شامل بہت سے افراد بالخصوص منظور پشتین اور ان کے قریبی ساتھیوں سابق ممبران قومی اسمبلی محسن داوڑ اور علی وزیر کو کئی مقدمات کا سامنا کرنا پڑا ہے
