According to the Saudi News Agency, the Saudi delegation at the Arab Consultative Meeting in the Egyptian capital Cairo was led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

The meeting welcomed the ceasefire and hostage exchange in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Authority discussed ways to work comprehensively for the security of the Palestinian people in the occupied territories and the stability of the region. Discussions also focused on ensuring participation in the international conference on the Palestinian issue and the two-state solution to be held in June 2025 under the leadership of Saudi Arabia and France. The consultative meeting discussed the latest situation in the Palestinian conflict and the sustainable implementation of the ceasefire, as well as the safe return of refugees and the acceleration of relief work.

At the invitation of Egypt, a seven-point agenda was agreed upon in the meeting of foreign ministers regarding Palestine. The meeting appreciated the efforts of Egypt and Qatar regarding the ceasefire. The important role of the United States was also praised. The possibilities of a two-state solution and clearing the region of all conflicts in collaboration with the administration of US President Donald Trump were also examined.

The Arab Ministerial Meeting stressed the importance of a permanent ceasefire and called for the immediate removal of all obstacles to ensure the full delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip. It completely rejected any attempt to completely withdraw Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip and divide the Gaza Strip. It emphasized that the Palestinian Authority should be allowed to assume full responsibilities. It clearly rejected any attempt to ignore or limit the role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), calling it important.

The meeting assured full solidarity and cooperation with the Palestinians to uphold their legitimate rights under international law. The participants urged the international community, especially regional powers and the United Nations Security Council, to ensure the implementation of a two-state solution to the issue at all costs so that any tension in the Middle East can be eradicated and a just solution to the Palestinian conflict can be reached.
