In the Mangochar area of Kalat district of Balochistan, 18 security forces personnel were also martyred while 23 terrorists were killed during an operation by security forces on the night of February 1. According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistani Army, terrorists tried to block a road in the Mangochar area of Kalat, on which the security forces immediately launched an operation. Upon receiving information about the incident, the security forces and law enforcement agencies were immediately mobilized, who successfully thwarted the terrorists’ nefarious intentions and killed 12 terrorists while ensuring the safety of the local population. According to the ISPR, 18 security forces personnel were killed during the operation. The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that in the context of the operation in the Mangochar area of Kalat, a clearance operation was conducted in Harnai in which 11 more terrorists were killed. According to the ISPR, the perpetrators of the heinous and cowardly act, facilitators and encouragers will be brought to justice. The security forces are committed to ensuring the peace and stability of Balochistan. We are determined to thwart attempts at sabotage. Such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve. The statement added that the enemy’s aim was to harm the innocent people of Balochistan and disrupt the peaceful environment of the province.
The Pakistani army spokesman further said that in view of the terrorist attack in Kalat district, sanitization operations are underway by the security forces across the province. It should be remembered that yesterday, security forces killed 10 Taliban terrorists while conducting operations in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A statement issued by the ISPR said that on information about the presence of Khawarij, the security forces conducted an operation based on intelligence in the Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan. During this, the forces effectively took action on the Taliban hideout, as a result of which 4 Khawarij were killed. The Pakistani army spokesman said that in four different operations in the areas of Datta Khel, Hassan Khel, Ghulam Khan and Mir Ali of North Waziristan, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and foreign terrorists, as a result of which 6 Taliban were killed.
