A partial ban on travel has been imposed on major national highways within the boundaries of four districts in Balochistan. According to the notifications issued in this regard, this ban will remain in effect on all types of public and private transport until further notice. According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, there will be a ban on vehicle travel on the coastal highway in the district from 5 pm to 5 am. Within the boundaries of Musakhel district, travel has been banned on the highway between Quetta and Punjab from 6 pm to 6 am. Within the boundaries of Zhob district, travel will not be possible on the Quetta-Dera Ismail Khan highway from 6 pm to 6 am. In Kachhi district, travel will be banned on the highway between Quetta and Sindh from 5 pm to 5 am. According to these notifications, vehicles arriving after 5 pm or 6 pm will be stopped at various places until morning. The reasons for the ban have not been stated in the notifications, however, this measure will be serious on some highways. It has been raised after the incidents of unrest.
On the other hand, the participants of the long march led by Balochistan National Party chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal reached Quetta to release the arrested women leaders and activists of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sami Baloch. However, a good number of people entered the city after crossing the barriers of the provincial government. On the other hand, reports are being received of a grenade attack on the Narcotics office by unknown persons in Gwadar district of Balochistan. The attack took place in the Shahzada ward in the Jiwani area of ​​the coastal city of Gwadar. The authorities have not yet come out with their position regarding the attack, nor has anyone accepted responsibility for the attack. On the other hand, more than a hundred non-political figures from Balochistan have demanded the release of Baloch rights activists including Baloch Solidarity Committee leader Mahrang Baloch before Eid.
