US President Donald Trump, while announcing the occupation of Gaza, did not rule out sending US troops to Gaza. While holding a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in Washington, Donald Trump said that the US will occupy the Gaza Strip, while the Palestinians living there should leave. The US President added that the US will occupy the Gaza Strip and we will also work with it. He said that we will own it and will be responsible for eliminating all dangerous bombs and other weapons there, leveling the ground and getting rid of the destroyed buildings. When asked if he was ready to send US troops to fill the security gap in Gaza, Trump did not deny it. He said that as far as Gaza is concerned, we will do what is necessary. If it is necessary to send US troops, we will do so. We are going to take over the piece that we are going to prepare.
President Trump said that I see a long-term ownership position and I see that it will bring great stability to this part of the Middle East and perhaps the entire Middle East. He said that no one took this decision lightly. Everyone I have spoken to likes the idea of America owning this piece of land, developing it and creating thousands of jobs that are wonderful. There will be a future in Gaza that will not include most of the Palestinians. Earlier in the Oval Office, Donald Trump had said that I don’t think people should go back to Gaza. I have heard that Gaza has been very unfortunate for them. They live like hell. They live like they are living in hell. Gaza is not a place for people to live and the people there want to go back because they have no alternative place to go. Later, he added that Palestinians may be among those returning to Gaza, but he is clear that he does not see the strip as a permanent residence for them.
Trump said that the Palestinians will also live there, many people will live there, he said that he had studied this issue closely for many months. According to Al Jazeera, on this occasion, the usurper Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Trump’s actions are proof of his friendship and support for the Jewish state and the Jewish people. Netanyahu called Trump Israel’s greatest friend in the White House. He said that this is why the people of Israel respect him so much. He also thanked Donald Trump for the arms supply to Israel that was stopped by the Biden administration.
