The pride of Israel’s power was shattered, the terrible aggression against Hamas, the genocide of Palestinians, despite the destruction and devastation of Gaza, the Tel Aviv government appeared extremely forced and helpless when it completely failed to release those arrested during Operation Storm Al-Aqsa on the morning of October 7, 2023, and finally knelt down in front of Hamas and signed a ceasefire agreement, which resulted in the release of three Israeli hostages, Emily Damari, Doron Steinbrecher and Romy Gonen, in exchange for which Tel Aviv had to release ninety Palestinian prisoners. The second exchange of prisoners will take place at the end of this week. Emily’s mother, Mandy Damari, who was released from Hamas, said that her daughter’s health is better than expected. A statement issued by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum said that Emily said after her release that she was the luckiest girl in the world to have her life back. Emily more or less She spent 447 days in Hamas hospitality. Her care can be gauged from her good health, even though she was injured before her arrest. Hamas workers treated her. When she hugged her mother with a satisfied face, it seemed that she had returned from a tourist trip. The plight of prisoners released from Israeli captivity can be gauged from the pictures published in the media around the world. Whether it is a 12-year-old boy released from Israeli military prisons or a 62-year-old female leader of the Popular Front, no prisoner is physically or mentally healthy. Palestinian prisoners were released from the captivity of the ruthless Israeli army, whose human needs were not even taken care of. This difference in human behavior clearly reveals the psychology of racist and usurping rulers. We also see this scene in occupied Kashmir.
Hamas praised the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and said that the Palestinians’ joy is evidence that they stand with the resistance and are expressing their determination to continue the fight for freedom despite Israeli atrocities. On the one hand, the world witnessed the release of three Israeli female prisoners with complete mental and physical health, while on the other hand, the plight of Palestinian men and women prisoners released from Israeli captivity has exposed the dominance of racism in Israel’s human behavior. Palestinian prisoners suffer from physical and mental weaknesses and signs of exhaustion were clearly visible on the Palestinian prisoners at the time of their release. This shows the difference between the values of resistance and the fascism of the occupation. After the ceasefire came into effect, 50 aid trucks and more than 10 fuel trucks entered the Gaza Strip through the Karim Shalom crossing. While fighting in Gaza has ended within the framework of the ceasefire, the ceasefire agreement remains under the ruthless politics of Israeli leaders. It is a very difficult stage for the Israeli leadership and extremist Jews to see Gaza once again under Hamas control. See, the Israelis’ lustful eyes on Gaza are not a hidden fact. In mid-October 2023, voices began to rise from Israel that the Palestinians should be pushed towards the Sinai Desert, Gaza should be taken under Israeli control and Jews should be settled here. But Egypt, despite pressure from the Biden administration, did not allow the Israeli dream to be realized in shame, which was a commendable decision by Egypt. Maintaining the ceasefire will be a tough test for the Israeli leadership. The statements of the Israeli leadership based on mischief indicate their nefarious intentions. The Houthis in Yemen said that after the agreement, they would stop attacking ships in the Red Sea, except for those that fly the Israeli flag or are owned by a Jew, so that there would be effective pressure on Israel to maintain the Gaza ceasefire. After the ceasefire, the leader of the Yemeni Houthi, Abdul Malik Badreddine al-Houthi, made his first public appearance in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire. Addressing the gathering, he said that the Yemenis are still active in fighting alongside the Palestinian people and are keeping an eye on the ceasefire. If the Israeli leadership takes any negative path to sabotage the ceasefire agreement, no force will be able to stop the Yemeni Mujahideen until they reach Gaza.
Israeli intelligence has expressed the dangers of Hamas in the West Bank because it is not included in the framework of the ceasefire agreement. Israel’s negative intentions behind issuing such an advisory are obvious. In such a situation, in addition to the resistance forces in the region, US President Donald Trump, who is rightly taking credit for this ceasefire, must play a key role so that the region is not once again affected by the flames of war. The Israeli military organization IDF has withdrawn the 90th battalion from Gaza, but it is conducting military exercises in the West Bank, which is enough to clarify the weakness of the Israeli leadership’s intentions. The recent ceasefire in Gaza is not a solution to the Palestinian problem. The international community and the countries of the region must pave the way for an independent homeland for the Palestinians so that the path to lasting peace in the Middle East can be paved. In order to be true to its commitment, the international community, including the United States, must first take real steps to dismantle the Jewish settlements built in the occupied Palestinian territories, which the international community has declared illegal, otherwise the recent ceasefire in Gaza will have no value. There will be no price and the flames of war will flare up again in the region. US President Donald Trump, in his first speech of his second term after taking the presidential oath, gave himself credit for the Gaza ceasefire, which is indeed a fact. Instead of stopping the war, the Biden administration enabled Israel to fight a war on multiple fronts simultaneously by providing financial and military assistance. Trump said in his inaugural address that he would avoid wars. Perhaps this is the case. It is in the interest of the American people themselves.
